It is the activity plugin. Just login as the admin and goto the plugins in the admin section and deactivate the activity plugin. Hope that helps.

What version are you running? The Video on 1.0.1 as far as i can see displays a thumbnail of the video inline but when you click on it, it goes to youtube. I can't find out how to play it inline.

Ok, here is how you do this. You can do this via ssh or cronjob. just run this command go to the directory and run "php sendemailsummary.php" and it send out a beautiful HTML or text email to your users for all the updates that have been done.

I don't think that status.net is the right place for this, why don't you just use a subdomain and use it like it says in Zen Cart, Joomla VirtueMart, Magento? And then in the site notice tell you users about it there?

if you as an admin are automatically subscribed to all new users, just go to the last user that is subscribed to you and then scroll down and on the right hand side you will see their user number. that is the easiest way I know.

Really @purge ? A lot of work? To have a form field added to the admin section where there is already a form field for the logo. If this was possible, then we could upload a mobile logo and favicon once and then not have to worry about it each time …
