  Hi jordanc,
  I am a victim of cyber harassment and someone use my personal information and posed as me to create an account on status.net with the harmful intention of posting obscene and offensive (not to mention a danger to my safety) info on statusnet. I googled and found out the user is already banned.
  I do not know this person and hope if you can help me. This person posted my home address and contact number and name online. If it is possible, if u can kindly let me know the IP address of the user account, or which country it has been set up from, it would be helpful. I am afraid of the safety for myself and my family and as my home address is posted online I would like to know how to remove the information from statusnet.
  I have already been receiving calls from different countries around the world, all stating they got my information online. I do not know how many more obscene websites i am involved in but since i found out about my fake identity on statusnet, i seek ur help.

  Hi Jordan, how are you? I am new here. please, I need some help.I adden a comment in Forum .The problem is that I need the json files of statusnet. like /account/verify_credentials.json, statusnet/config.json, statusnet/version.json and other 33 files. I installed statusnet and it works from desktop client very well! but from Mustard android aplication, I cannot connect to the service. I debug the code, and I found that this json files are required , and In localhost folder (where I have my sttusnet service installed) are missing. Thank you very much, Agustin

  @jordanc I have read this post and tried all of the suggestions, my error message is Your domain is not properly registered yet. 'jamesfvalley.net' should resolve to 174.142.114.103. The A name contains 174.142.114.103 and the CNAME contains 174.142.114.103. My website http://jamesfvalley.net reads "No such site" and that's with or without the "www" What am I doing wrong?

  Trying to use statusnet desktop, works to connect to identi.ca but not to my server on my intranet: I get Bad nickname or password error, i know they are correct, Server is version 0.9.6 statusnet is rooted http://servername/statusnet/ no fancy URLs, i have entered all variations into "server" to get it to work!! help!!! thanks so much!!!!!!!!
