  just a word of warning: I have just discovered that installing status.net 0.9.0 resolved my issues, and 0.9.2 has a great deal of problems due to fatcow not supporting InnoDB..if you intend on upgrading status.net I would look at finding a webhost that supports InnoDB

  Ok, thanks anyway..I have raised support tickets and gone through their live chat..hopefully this can be resolved as I have no end of trouble with getting status.net running on webhosts.

  hi, sorry to bother you but I saw from forum posts you have status.net installed on fatcow.com servers. I created a fatcow account only to discover they do not support InnoDB on their mySQL servers..yet I managed to import the sql databases and get the script 'installed'..yet it is running painfully slow and tends to timeout. my site is @ http://banta.im I was wondering if you had any information or tips regarding status.net on fatcow?
