Identi.ca followers not shown

I set up my own instance with "admin" and me as the only users. People that are following me from identi.ca don't appear in my followers even though I appear in their following list and they get my status updates. What am I missing?

    @afranke How long ago did you set it up? Also, have you made any changes to your URLs or security (SSL/HTTPS) settings? Either of those will cause federation issues like the ones you describe.

    http://status.alexandrefranke.com/notice/1 says I set it up 4 months ago, but that doesn't mean anything. I've had this problem from the start and I'm posting here now only because it took me that look to stop procrastinating. :)

    No SSL on my host. What do you mean by changing URLs?

    Note that people following me from their own instances do appear in the list, it's only people from identi.ca that don't.
