How to move Facebook and Twitter connect to header

Hi,

I want to move move facebook and twitter connect buttons to the header of the main page. So that a user can login\register straight from the main page. I already enabled the plugins, but don't know how to move them there. Any ideas? Thanks.

    I am afraid you would have to build a plugin for that, moving things around on statusnet is not very friendly. I suggest you check out the statusnet wiki for details on how to go about building a plugin although the information is very basic.
