I tried to configure a tweetdeck to access my account, but every displayed 'Ah wrong details, try again!'... I set a fancy URLs, and input http://www.mydomain.com/api .
@htateiwa the api links are not like actual webpages they're used to interact with statusnet by other apps. That was just a test to see if your api link was accessible, it won't display properly in a browser.
Double check your login and password info and try both of these in TweetDeck advanced settings. It appears that it should be working.
@kampfflunder really? My OS is Win7 and Tweetdeck latest version. This isnt the only probrem, Twitter iPhone official app, Statusnet desktop client are the same symptoms...
@htateiwa yes, really ;-) Once I got fany urls working, I could omit index.php, it is still working. Tweetdeck for Linux does not like my self signed certificates, as the Mac client does. The desktop app (Linux tested) works. The twitter iPhone app also has the problem with my cert.
I have installed TweetDeck 0.37.4 I can connect to Statusnet (0.9.6), but after composed, the window of compose area in TweekDeck could not be used any more (gray down). Maybe there is no update successful returns to TweekDeck. Help please.

Can you access http://www.yourdomain.com/api/statuses/public_timeline.xml ?
If you can't then there may be some problem in your install with regards to fancy urls
Otherwise you can try http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php/api/ for tweetdeck.
I can't access above xml link. They requires User ID and Pass.
I also can't /index.php/api/ on tweetdeck,too.
Anyway I try to take back the fancy URLs configlation..
thanks
unfortunately ,the link was bad.....
and displayed
''This page contains the following errors:
error on line 6 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.
Could not authenticate you. /username/all/rss''
Do you know how to resolve it??
thanks
