Installation and Full checkup service?

Hello everybody,
does anyone offer installation and full checkup for the script to make sure everything is working?
i have a VPS with php5, mysql5 and all script requirements installed, along with the external libraries but not sure if everything is set up properly am not a server admin and am not good with programming either :-)

well i have installed the system but am not sure if everything is working etc...
it seems working as basics but not sure if the core stuff are, like sphinx library and all the others, also when i try to register as a new user it say something is wrong in the email settings and to check the log file but i actually dont know where is the log file

@Karim you dont need sphinx unless you have a very large site. and the log file is probably in /var/log/user.log

do you have a mail server?

@aric thanks for getting back, i red about sphinx and i gathered that its for huge search thing, but when i ordered a vps i gave the guys all the requirements and external libraries of the script to install :-) so i have everything before i start and will wait to grow a bit by bit

i have mail server set with the server yeah, i installed few different scripts and they send emails normally, not sure if this one uses different methods or no

@aric i have a little question..
i use godaddy hosting, and they have a mail server for me as a service (free).

according to README, if i would like to support SMS into my statusnet site, i should:
Edit: /etc/aliases on my mail server and add the following line:
*: /path/to/statusnet/scripts/maildaemon.php

but i do not know how to edit /etc/aliases, and how to update my aliases database.
I am not a programmer, please let me know simply.

@autopart you wont be able to use that feature on godaddy, or any shared hosting. Im requires having full control of postfix (the mail server) you just have access to it. True SMS will be a feature very soon. But as you may know It will cost money to use cellular networks.

SMS will be a plugin included in the code. you will have to pay some smpp provider.

@silversurfer There is no projected date for the sms plugin. It will come out when it's ready.
