Can't fetch avatars for remote groups on standalone installation

When I subscribe to remote group (on identi.ca), I get a blank screen after confirming subscription on my installation, and nothing useful in logs. Avatars for groups fetched (they present in avatars/), but they're not in use.

When I trying to launch update-profile-data.php --all, I get following output: http://server.pztrn.ru/paste/198

Is that normal? StatusNet 1.0.1, php 5.4.3

    On statusnet 1.1.0-alpha1, joining external groups gives out a blank page as you described. Just as well, avatars are not used properly. See my instance at status.mvdan.cc. This issue has been discussed before - I believe it will be corrected shortly.

    I'm using statusnet 1.0.1, so can this be related to php 5.4?

    1.1.0-alpha1, PHP 5.4.3. Many people I know use statusnet 1.0.1 with php 5.3.X and have similar problems, so I'd say that's not the case.
