This profile has been silenced by site moderators

I've forgotten about my Identi.ca account I opened back in 2009 and now just tried login and got alert stating: "This profile has been silenced by site moderators"
Was there a problem with the account or it got silenced due to inactivity?
I'm getting my work staff to open accounts with identi.ca and start doing more social engaging activity.

Is is possible to un-silence?
Profile is is: http://identi.ca/backgroundchecks
Thank you kindly,
Joe

  • @joegonzalez We've discussed your account in the (private) Moderators and Spamreport group. Some think your account should stay silences, some don't. Since we're trying to be a friendly bunch I've unsilenced your account. But please keep in mind that identi.ca is not for SEO link building and the like, but for interaction with other persons.
  • Hi Habi, http://identi.ca/backgroundchecks is still silenced.
  • After discussing in the private moderators group @evan stepped into the discussion (http://identi.ca/conversation/92855689). He's the CEO of StatusNet and he's "reviewed this one before; clear commercial content". Before he answered I unsilenced the account and it stayed this way. The filters now must have decided to silence it again. I'm leaving the decisions to them, i.e. not unsilencing the account manually now.

@joegonzalez should contact admin at status dot net via email if this decision troubles him/her.

@nicelee: Or is this your account?
  • Dear admin,

I'm Glodow Nead. I've an identica account with my company name "Waterbar" - http://identi.ca/waterbar. Now i'm unable to login to this. It shows the message as "This profile has been silenced by site moderators". This profile is important for my business. Please help me by unsilencing this.

    Thanks,
    Glodow Nead.
  • @waterbar I wonder why - if the 'profile is important for you business' - you've not posted a single notice. I've unsilenced your account for the moment.
