How to invite friends from other social network such as twitter, google, etc?

Just like what https://twitter.com/#!/who_to_follow/import does, users can import friends from other social network website. Any working plugin exists?

    You can subscribe to most RSS feeds, just add the feed address in the subscription box. But as far as I know there's no way to really import friends from other social networking websites.
    There has been a project for GSOC 2011 to do some social analytics: http://status.net/wiki/GSoC_2011 But I don't know what happened with this...
