Javascript No Such Interface Error on mini.util.js

Hi i have been struggling with this error on IE....i have tried all that was suggested bt still when i hit reply button in coments i get a new page with the text area in IE instead of it opening in the in-line ajax as it works on FF. Please suggest a remedy.

    @samrat1985 What IE version are you using? Are you waiting until the page completely loads before clicking anything?

    Yes m waiting till the page loads completly. I am using IE8.0.7600.16385 version
