Public timeline to show log in box instead of public timeline
I have an instance of status on my own server that is public. I would like to have the home page of my status.net instance display the log in box or register, like how private does, instead of the timeline.
I tried following the instructions on this page: http://forum.status.net/discussion/1820/invite-only#Item_16 but it did not work.
How can I do this?
