Desktop & iPhone: login works, send notice works but timeline is always empty

After installing Statusnet 1.0.1 setting up users sending some posts through the webinterface I installed desktop for mac and iPhone app. I was able to login with both and also sending notices which are visible on webinterface but the desktop & iPhone are not able to receive timeline items.

in the desktop application the two "loading arrows" are continuously turning. the iPhone says "Loading..." but nothing is shown.

  • Hej :-)

Did you find a solution to this one. I seem to have the exact same issue?

  • here same issue, both Statusnet Desktop as Tweetdeck are unable to show public timeline. The Gravity client for Nokia and the microblog plugin for pidgin do work though.
  • I have tried to debug this today, because the android client also does not work. One problem seems to be some changed names in Active Streams format (https://github.com/activitystreams/json-schema/commit/3e964b38429f53385204c71e5cd14311c660e1b2). For example the StatusNet Client uses "postedTime", but StatusNet 1.0.1 seems to send "published" now. But this does not solve the problem still.
There are still errors like: Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier at file:///android_asset/Resources/timeline.html:1
I think there goes something wrong with the conversion of the JSON string to an object with the eval() statement in the function objectOrJson() of timeline.html. But I could not find anything yet. Someone who knows this code a bit and has an idea?
