  • Update:
As of a few hours ago flex.status.net gets redirected to: http://status.net/signup?nickname=flex
    And there it gets a:
Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): The server closed the connection without sending any data.
Hope this helps to find the problem.
  • Still problems with the site. Already wrote on the blog tried to contact service via e-mail. Until now nothing. And this for a paid account, very unprofessional and by now i guess all my users are gone.
Could someone at least send me the database so i can at least retrieve the user to send all of them an email to tell them about the situation and maybe when everything is restored can persuade them to use the site again.
  • @TZAdvantage I see that flex.status.net is back. I hope that fixed everything for you.
  • And again it is down.
I would expect a refund for at least a month.
    This is just getting ridiculous.
Could you be so kind to at least send me a copy of the user database, so when the site is down i have the ability to send them an email.
  • You should contact StatusNet by email, i suppose they can provide you with the database and probably also a refund for your paid service.
You might also want to try to contact evan.status.net directly...
  • Frankly, i just gave up and busy implementing my own, on my own servers that i control. I have 99.9% uptime the last 10 years, so i am more able to provide a reliable service then this 'cloud'. I control my own updates, and actually test everything before putting it online. I am not using users to detect bugs, only a few that help testing.
My feeling about this is that they just went for the 'investment'. After that "service" is non existent.
Being offline a few times, 2 weeks, then 4 weeks is not the way to run a service. I have lost about 90% of my users, took more than a year to build that up. As you can believe i am not happy with that.
I understand there has to be some maintenance, i refuse to believe that it takes weeks.
Negligence is the right word for it.
Creditcard company is now arranging money back for the last 4 months as the service over those months was more down than up.
