Blog plugin separate from the activity "stream"

I have tried the Blog plugin that comes with status.net but i find it too simple.

I would like to see a plugin that actually creates a real blog into status.net. The blog posts should not be posted in the notice stream (apart from maybe a notice that a blog post has been written).

Perhaps even wordpress could somehow be seamlessly integrated?

Has anybody thought about this, or maybe even started such a project?

Not sure what you mean, the blog has the title and the first couple of words posted to the stream and then you have to click on the link to see the whole blog. Am I missing something? You have the ability to format and to insert images, what else do you want?

I want a blog separate from the stream. A blog you can visit on my profile.

But when i do post a blog entry it will send a notice out on the stream.

That way you can visit my profile and read my whole blog as it is common on for example a normal wordpress blog.
