I've checked that and I still don't see how to have the files stored in a different server. As Emp tried, my idea is to have the files stored in a separate server, making it transparent for users. I tried installing a separate installation of Statusnet in a different server and then changing both "config table" records as well as "$config['attachments']" properties, but yet I couldn't get it. Do you guys have any idea?
I believe you need to change both your config.php file and your admin panel. I have not changed that setting, so I can't be sure. I would expect that you'll need to give a username and password for accessing the second server, too.
Hi, thanks for the answer, I changed both and it seems to work fine when I have 2 different instances but in same server, but as soon as I move my "file server" instance to a different server, then it stop working. I will continue researching on it, but if anyone could give me a hand, I'd really appreciate it.
