Could update@status.net reflects theses releases ?
Could theses annoucements be posted on !statusnet gruop on identi.ca too ?

When installing a new instance, we're asking to subscribe this account to get in touch with new releases. But, there've been no new notices for a while here, despite 2 major security releases (yes, I'm talking about 0.9.8 as well).
No annoucements either on statusnet group on identi.ca

Following statusnet updates is just a nightmare since we have to subscribe to Evan's blog to have news. Nice blog indeed, but a bit redundant with statusnet group on identi.ca and update@status.net

I'll look into that, it makes sense. To be fair, 0.9.8 only existed for about an hour or two before 0.9.9 came out ;-)

@jordanc I've got no problems with neither 0.9.8, nor 0.9.9 and not more with both.
It's only a matter of communication.

Using a blog post to make annoucement when you already have a communication like StatusNet is... strange.

You have statusnet group on identi.ca, you have update@status.net, please, please use them :)
