XMPP in 1.0.x alpha broken?

is it? I am playing with alpha5 and with git 1.0.x branch, they, likewise, show this:

Is it a known problem or local? Should I open a bug?

Maybe related: if I try to use stomp for xmpp, some php script starts to busyloop.

@crosser Could you open a bug at http://status.net/open-source/issues It's very possible, xmpp has not yet been tested in 1.0.x

I think this is an already reported issue #3232. I added a log excerpt there.
