hi there.
i tried out to set up ssl encryption within the admin panel. for i get invalid URL, i'll have to change the settings. sadly this is not possible within the admin panel, because clicking 'save' leads to an invalid URL. i guess i pasted the full path by mistake, so there is an URL like '
https://https//ssl.andsoon...' generated - the 2nd https// in fact comes without ':'
my question: where to change the settings manually or deactivate ssl encryption to fix this?
adding $config['site']['ssl'] = 'never'; in the config.php takes no effect.
also $config['site']['sslserver'] command will be ignored.

php setconfig.php site ssl neverphp setconfig.php site sslserver 'yoursever.name'sadly i don't have shell access to the server so cannot run setconfig.php
i guess running statusnet on a webhosting platform is nice but won't match its enormous potential. after this short week of playing around with statusnet (web and android) i am so very amazed that i'll purchase a vps solution for it.
