could anyone help me install the 1.0x?

I have been trying to get the status.net 1.0x running on shared hosting and failed. Now, I'd like to try to run it on Amazon Web Service, ec2. Would anyone be able to help me with this? How much would it cost? Also, The AWS has a free tier, does anyone have a guess on approximately how many users would be able to operate in the free tier?

You will need to expand on "and failed" to get a specific response to your specific problem. If you want to try it again yourself, try reading Install StatusNet 1.0 alpha. But StatusNet 1.0 final is not released yet, so you don't want to use it for production yet. For 200 USD, I will do a basic install for you on EC2: if interested, contact me directly with your email address. At a glance, I roughly guess you could run a site with thousands of users, but it depends on various factors.
