remove the spambot users

so I've been able to stop the bot flooding on my site. however I'd love to be able to weed them out somehow.
They have only registered a user account, they have not posted a single item (no status updates, and no pm's) and have no avatar.
All other accounts with active users has posted something , set an avatar or sent a pm.

Do anyone of you know how I could list and\or delete the users this applies to?
I do honestly not know how to do this with mysql.

I've tried to sort it out through webmin's mysql server interface (you can list the DB content), but I have not found a way to fix it there.

Any hits is appreciated.

Hello, I have installed php-pear in my server, but it isn't work.

I tried to do: require("PEAR.php"); and it says:

I have migrated a status install to a new server and it says this error, how I can fix it?

thanks for the statusnet, when i read the 0.9.2's readme file, i find that the statusnet starts to use the plugin struction.congratulate for these changes.

However, the host requirements is really hard for the share host. therefore, i decide to buy a better host. here, i'd like to ask the developers of statusnet, which host is suitable for the new statusnet.

is the media template OK? if i perchase the dv host, how many users can running for a dv host? thanks for answer.

When trying to save the changes to the information (address and credit card) i get the message:

AWS versus VPS

I'm trying to plan ahead for hosting.

I like the idea of using Ubuntu on AWS EC2 but was wondering whether status.net will work out of the box with it (with some simple config)? VPS is easy as it has durable local storage and should work pretty much like my local server etc whereas AWS doesn't do this (with a host of advantages when scaling).

Anyone used AWS? Any issues? And for the upcoming version 1.0 release?

Can't login to my status.net account

I have a hosted status.net account, http://www.eyeguide.status.net/

But, I can't login to the site using my browser, I get an error:

"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.status.net."

I *am* able to login using the API.

Steps to fix the remote problems on hostgator servers

With a default install on hostgator servers it is impossible to subscribe to someone else remotely.
It is also impossible to send a message to an install on another domain.

I'm trying to fix this with the hostgator support and hopefully this thread will bring a working solution to the community (hopefully).

So here is how I described the problem to hostgator:

This script allows to send messages to installs that are on other domains.

But when I try to do it from my installation I get this error message:

I then gave them my login details and explained them that they had to type a command like

@username@domain.com message

to send a message to the domain.com install. I gave them my username on identi.ca so they could test it themselves.

I also asked them if PHP was running in FCGI mode.

Here is the 1st reply I got:

So I added this in config.php to disable the geoname plugin:

unset($config['plugins']['default']['Geonames']);

But it didn't change anything.

i am so sorry to ask for such help, but i have struggle for this issue for a long time. can anyone give a right example of xmpp.
Also, i have study statusnet for a long time, but i still have these problem, and my host is a VPS host and centos.

These problem:

1. i can not upload any files and my configure is right.
2.i can connect to the twitter and facebook, but the posts do not upgrade there.
3. openid do not work in my website.

i wonder if it is the problem of host?
